MOBILE MARKETING NEWS: BT sues Google over Android patent infringements

BT is seeking billions of dollars of damages from Google after filing a lawsuit in the US against the search giant over claims that a number of its patents have been infringed.

The British company is complaining that patents relating to location-based services, navigation and guidance tools and personalised services and content allegedly breach its intellectual properties.

Google is currently fending off multiple lawsuits attacking Android patents from Apple, Mircrosoft, Oracle and others. Google said it plans fight the legal proceedings.
