A whopping 31 per cent of B2B brands are still struggling with social media, according to B2B Marketing’s Content Benchmarking Report 2013. Despite the increasingly important role of social in B2B, marketers are still struggling to harness these channels within their content marketing strategy.
Meanwhile, other areas in need of attention were related to improving the sophistication of content marketing activities. ‘Lead generation’ and ‘reach’ were flagged as two skills and techniques in which most improvement were needed with 49 per cent and 48 per cent of respondents selecting these areas.
