B2B Marketing events run throughout the year, but you won’t find as many knowledge-thirsty and enthusiastic marketers in one place as you will at Ignite, which is now less than two weeks away. Although we don’t expect you to sit in on every session (an impossible feat, even for the keenest marketer), you should at least check out some of the following presentations and added extras.
1. A playground that will take you to tech heaven
The number of AI tech vendors out there seems to have doubled in the past year, which is something that drives a greater need for marketers to re-evaluate their martech stacks. Our tech playground, open to visitors throughout the day, is the perfect opportunity for attendees to demo the hottest solutions out there before consdering a purchase. Vendors will have all sorts of tech delights to flaunt, including new CRM platforms, marketing automation software and cloud-based services.
The tech playground can be accessed throughout the day in the main hall.
2. Brian Macreadie on how to give your marketing some oomph
An engaging writer and speaker, Berwin Leighton Paisner’s head of brand and campaign marketing Brian Macreadie will take you on a journey of discovery as he draws on personal experiences of producing award-winning marketing campaigns to show you how you can use creativity to more effectively cut through the noise and get your brand noticed.
This session will take place from 12:05-12:35 as part of the ‘engagement’ stream.
3. Doug Kessler’s masterclass on how to break conventional marketing rules
The closing keynote session from Velocity Partners’ founder Doug Kessler is set not only to be a valuable learning experience for marketers but a truly memorable one; make sure you’re in your seat for this outspoken content guru’s take on why marketing’s conventions are holding us back and how we should be challenging them to achieve the unexpected.
This closing keynote session will take place from 16:20-17:00 on the keynote stage.
4. A boozy People Awards ceremony celebrating the stars of B2B
The People Awards shortlist has been revealed, which means it’s nearly time for some fun. Join us after the main Ignite event to see the brilliant finalists collect their awards and more importantly, celebrate with them post-ceremony. And delivering plenty of gags throughout the evening will be our host, comedian Pierre Novellie.
The ceremony will take place after Ignite from 17:45-19.00 at the same venue.
5. Stein IAS on how to be relevant in B2B
Technology’s developing quicker than ever done before, and marketers who can show they can keep up, while remaining relevant and in tune to their customers’ emotions, are the ones that will get ahead. In this presentation, Stein IAS chairman and chief client officer Tom Stein and B2B Marketing’s Joel Harrison will talk through the challenges facing marketing leaders and their teams, and the skills they need going forward.
This session will run from 10:00-10:30 as part of the ‘advancement’ stream.
6. Panel discussions on creativity, career success and inclusion
When two atoms collide at high speed, they combine to make something much larger and more profound. The same could be said for the speakers on our panel discussions, so come along to hear the smartest marketing minds out there debate the most pertinent issues affecting B2B-ers today. Who knows?
