Accenture acquires Yesler

Consulting services Accenture has acquired Yesler, a B2B provider of digital marketing services and strategic resources.

Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed. The deal adds account-based marketing, customer advocacy, sales enablement and marketing automation to Accenture’s current offerings.

Accenture’s acquisition of Yesler follows its purchase of Ideoclick earlier this year, a cloud based e-commerce optimisation software that sells on Amazon.

Yesler is based in Seattle with over 400 employees worldwide, including offices in Philadelphia, London, Toronto, Singapore, Portland and Oregon. Some of its clients include Amazon, Claris, Google, Salesforce and SAP.

Brian Whipple, group chief executive for Accenture Interactive, said: “B2B marketing has become extraordinarily complex and, at the same time, buyers expect the same ‘Amazon-like’ interactions they experience as consumers. B2B marketers are seeking to leverage best practices from B2C while also addressing the specialized needs of B2B. The addition of Yesler allows us to enhance the complete set of B2B services we provide our clients — from strategy and creative to implementation and ongoing management.”
