Adobe Photoshop has turned 25-years-old, and to celebrate has launched a marketing campaign and competition.
The ‘Dream On’ campaign will be launched at The Academy Awards as a tribute to all the art created using Photoshop programme. The activity surrounds a TV advertisement which features incredible work from Photoshop artists and iconic images from major motion pictures that used Photoshop in the making, including Avatar, Gone Girl, How to Train Your Dragon 2 and Shrek.
Meanwhile, the company will also showcase 25 of the most creative visual artists under 25 who use the programme. To be considered the brand is asking artists to upload their projects to Adobe’s online portfolio network, Behance, using the tag Ps25Under25. Those selected will take over Photoshop’s Instagram handle for two weeks to share their work.
