Adobe Stock introduces images of female football professionals in response to poor diversity in ads

Adobe has released images of female football professionals to its Adobe Stock to encourage creatives to produce work that is diverse and reflective of society.

This comes after Adobe’s Diversity in Advertising report found women’s sport receives less than 10% of sports coverage.

The football professionals were chosen because they work in a male-dominated industry, and Adobe aims to give them a platform to tell their story and empower others through these photos.

Those included in the images were; Casey Stoney, former England player and now league coach, Anita Asante, England international, Georgie Hodge, head of women’s football at Base Soccer Agency, Kait Borsay, news and sports presenter, producer, voice-over artist, and co-founder of Offside Rule podcast (picture below), and Rebecca Welch, the UK’s top female referee (pictured above).

The images are available on Adobe stock.

This isn’t the first time a B2B company has pledged support to female football. This year Visa promised to matech marketing spend of the Men’s World Cup for women’s football. While Mastercard signed a three-year sponsorship deal with Olympique Lyonnais women’s football team.
