Allianz to protect brands during a crisis

Corporate insurance provider Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS) is offering a service that will cover the communications costs companies face in crisis scenarios.

The ‘Allianz Reputation Project’ will cover consulting fees and communications expenses during critical situations such as a factory explosion, plane crash, oil spill or management scandal. Clients are also able to name industry specific events to be included on the policy.

Customers will be able to choose from three agencies; Brunswick, CNC and Hill+Knowlton Strategies. The policy is aimed at companies that do not have their own communications or PR teams, and coverage will extend up to €10 million.

Joachim Albers, head of product development financial lines at AGCS, said, “Trust, reputation and brand strength are precious assets for companies today. We can help companies respond to crises in a professional manner.”
