Android’s native web browser Robot has taken the title of the world’s most popular mobile web browser.
Google’s browser now accounts for 22.67 per cent of the global market having overtaken Opera, which now sits on 21.07 per cent, according to StatCounter.
Apple’s Safari browser is not too far behind either, with a 21.06 per cent share.
These statistics are likely to change again in the near future, with the full roll out of Google’s Chrome for mobile and new offerings from Microsoft on the way too.
