AppSense, a global provider of user virtualisation technology, has appointed two new senior marketing members to its team.
Stuart Noad will be taking over as director of marketing. He joins AppSense from HP Informational Security where he was marketing director and a member of its operational board.
Helen Major, former EMEA marketing manager at Harte Hanks Trillium Software, will join AppSense as its new channel marketing manager.
The appointments come as a result of AppSense’s record growth in 2010, including a 60 per cent increase in revenue and a 43 per cent increase in staff. Noad and Major will both be tasked with continuing to drive the technology provider’s growth in Northern Europe.
AppSense’s customers include JPMorgan Chase, RBS and United Airlines. Technology alliance partners include Citrix, Microsoft and VMware.
James McNab, senior director of marketing and sales development, EMEA at Citrix Systems, commented, “These appointments testify, not only to AppSense’s ongoing success in the region, but also to the increasing relevance of virtualisation to organisations across Europe. We look forward to continuing our strong collaboration.”
