Marketing agency April Six has chosen tech hub Seattle as its second North American location.
Janet Knight, regional group account director has moved from its first US office in San Francisco to Seattle, to build the team and manage new clients and opportunities. Peter Harrington, account director, has joined as the first Seattle-based hire from Spear Marketing Group to help support clients in the area. He joins with past experience inhouse at Microsoft and Getty Images.
The second US office opening is hoped to further build and broaden April Six’s footprint in the States. April Six San Francisco is five years old, and has a team of 30, with clients including Pure Storage, LiveRamp and Rockwell Automation.
April Six recently placed 19th in the B2B Marketing US Agencies Benchmarking Report 2019 league table of the country’s top marcomms agencies.
According to the agency, Seattle was an obvious choice, after the city was named second in the top tech markets in the country in real estate firm CBRE’s annual Scoring Tech Talent report.
