BlackLine appoints Andres Botero as CMO

Former SAP marketing executive Andres Botero has joined B2B financial automation software company BlackLine.

As CMO, Botero will be responsible for driving the company’s global marketing strategy as they attempt to capitalize on the growing demand for solutions.

Botero has more than 20 years of experience at

B2B cloud enterprise software companies

including CallidusCloud (his most recent position), Aria Systems, Steelwedge and SAP.

The CMO will report to Marc Huffman, chief operating officer at BlackLine. Huffman described Botero as a global B2B marketing leader who is skilled at driving results across all marketing functions.

“He has demonstrated tremendous success working in alignment with sales organizations to help grow several leading enterprise SaaS/cloud companies and build their brands globally,” Huffman explained.
