BRAND CAMPAIGN NEWS: Cemex uses employees to push its brand | B2B Marketing

Building solutions company Cemex, has launched an ad campaign featuring its employees with the aim of strengthening its brand reputation.

The adverts, designed with agency Key Parker, offer a nod to the Olympics with the use of their strap lines. The first advert features a customer service agent saying, “I never made a splash with the swimming team but I never get out of depth when it comes to handling your inquiries”. There are five adverts in total and they will run throughout August in trade publication

The campaign is part of a wider brand building initiative being run by Cemex. With reference to the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and the Olympics, the building supplier has painted Union Jack flags on four of its trucks.

Speaking about the current advertising campaign, Cemex marketing manager, Andy Cullimore said, “The advertising recognises and celebrates the efforts of our employees to deliver on our customer service promises and to clearly establish ourselves as the leading construction materials solutions provider in the UK.”
