Openwork has appointed Claire Oldstein as marketing director.
It’s one of three recent female senior appointments with Angelene Woodland joining British Business Bank, and Charlotte Emmerson joining Jungle.
Oldstein will lead all marketing, communications and brand-related activity at the financial advice network company. Claire previously worked at MetLife as head of brand and integrated marketing EMEA. Prior to this she helped to set up Post Office Financial Services, which saw her develop and launch a suite of
financial services products.

Woodland to lead British Business Bank’s new ‘demand development unit’
The British Business Bank has appointed Angelene Woodland as its first CMO to set up its new ‘demand development unit’. Woodland will help the unit raise the profile of the bank and its relationship with the
smaller UK businesses that it funds.
She joins from Bupa UK, where she held a number of positions including director of marketing communications.
Woodland said: “The creation of the new demand development unit is testament to the focus being put on delivering a customer-centred and compelling proposition to market, that meets the demands and needs of our customer segments.”
Jungle Creations hires
Agency Jungle Creations has appointed Charlotte Emmerson, previously at
, as its first CMO. The newspaper’s former director of transformational marketing will be responsible for driving awareness of Jungle’s brands – including VT, Twisted, Four Nine, Level Fitness, World Unknown and Kidspiration.
In her role at
, Emmerson supported the change in business strategy to a reader revenue model and oversaw the marketing for the publication’s change from Berliner to tabloid format.
