MHR creates campaign to challenge common perception of HR and payroll | B2B Marketing

MHR has announced a series of two-minute films to highlight its HR and payroll offerings

The company has released the first ad of a six part series. The video focuses on fictional character Margaret who is a payroll professional and has a passion for heavy metal.

The film sees Margaret transform her day-to-day work by using MHR’s tools to automate her processes.

The company coined the tagline ‘Payroll has never looked quite like this’ and has used the hashtag #EnableYourGreatness across social media platforms to demonstrate that MHR tools can do more than people think.

Ian Stewart, marketing director at MHR, said: “MHR’s new advertising campaign is a radical departure from anything within the market and is designed to be disruptive and challenge stereotypes. Our focus is to resonate with people, not businesses.

“It is a people-focused positioning that no one else in the industry is doing. Instead of selling flashy functionality, we are putting the heart back into HR and celebrating real people like Margaret, who if given the right tools, can achieve greatness in all aspects of life.”

Margaret will be the first of six characters to uncover MHR’s solutions and the company have said consequent adverts will take on different themes.

MHR will also offer its customers the chance to inspire the final video in the series.
