Matt Davies, CMO, SEON

Matt joins fraud prevention startup SEON from Splunk. For SEON, the move underlines their commitment to creating well-executed B2B marketing strategies.

Following their $94 million Series B investment, Matt joins as SEON launches multiple new products and use cases, alongside further growth in their core capabilities.

CEO Jimmy Fong said: “Matt is an accomplished figure in the software and SaaS space and couldn’t fit the culture we’ve developed here at SEON any better. If you look across his career, he’s played a crucial role in helping other companies reach that next stage of development. For some, it might seem risky to leave a post-IPO business for a scrappy startup, but for us it underlines Matt’s inherent understanding of SEON’s core value.”

Matt added: “My goal is to apply the lessons I’ve learnt from some of the big companies I’ve previously worked for at SEON, while ensuring the company retains that special quality that makes it so impactful in the broader fraud fighting community. I’m so excited to get going in my role and to get stuck in daily with the amazing projects we’re working on. I’m looking forward to beginning my journey as a fraud fighter and to switching on the marketing engines needed to fuel growth. Ultimately, my mission now is to help more businesses fight fraud, and accountable marketing is essential for this.”

Ellie Ratcliff, director of EMEA, Adobe Alliance EMEA for Merkle

Merkle has appointed Ellie as director of Adobe Alliance EMEA for Merkle. Merkle is one of Adobe’s leading global partners, one of the first agencies to be accredited on Adobe Experience Platform and home to over 1,000 dedicated Adobe experts.

Ellie’s role and previous experience supports Merkle’s position as a leader in the use of Adobe products, continuing to create market growth and enabling Merkle to maximise the power of the global partnership across every client engagement. Ellie will help brands looking to increase technology investments in the face of rapid technological development.

Nicholas McCarthy, SVP, EMEA alliances director, said: “Adobe is a key partner for Merkle, helping drive many large customer experience transformational projects for our clients, and I’m delighted that Ellie will be leading the highly skilled and innovative teams across all our EMEA clusters in the next phase of our alliance.”

Dominic Walters, CMO, Highview Power

Dominic joins from Inmarsat Aviation as VP marketing communications and strategy having driven significant revenue growth and transformed the business from virtually unknown in its sector to a global aviation connectivity leader.

Dominic will lead Highview Power’s marketing, corporate communications and government team. As part of this, he’ll take a leading role in scaling global presence to support Highview Power’s vision to tackle climate change and achieve net-zero.

He will also lead the Sky High Economics study developed in collaboration with the London School of Economics. The study has forecasted the potential for billions of dollars in ancillary revenue for the airline industry through advances in inflight broadband and connectivity.
