B2B Marketing Elevation Awards 2021 winners announced!

So, who won big this year?

The Profit Hunter, by Gravity Global, leads the charge

At this stage, The Profit Hunter may as well be renamed the Gold hunter, winning a whopping five Gold awards at this year’s Elevation Awards. The campaign, which saw Gravity Global help Brazilian aerospace conglomerate Embraer completely outperform all KPIs, won Gold for ‘Best product launch campaign’, ‘Best customer engagement initiative’, ‘Best use of digital techniques or technologies’, ‘Best use of creative’ and ‘Best use of content marketing’. Impressive.

And it’s no surprise. The campaign saw Gravity run an integrated campaign that utilised events at and around air shows, viral video, VR and AR, animated OOH, print, social casts and social media. In terms of results, the campaign delivered:

  • 12 new customers. 86 aircraft orders with an order value of $5 billion.
  • Brand mentions up 88.8% YoY.
  • Engagement up 26% YoY.

Nelson Schmidt, Retina and Shaped By all win two Gold awards!

With two Gold awards each, Nelson Schmidt, Retina and Shaped By all saw huge success at the 2021 Elevation Awards.

Shaped By won Gold for ‘Best use of thought leadership’ and ‘Best corporate decision-maker-targeted campaign’ for its CXO Focus campaign for Nutanix. Nutanix, a global leader in cloud software and a pioneer in hyperconverged infrastructure solutions, found itself competing for substantially bigger deals within largely siloed organisations. In order to be in with a better chance of winning those deals, it needed to raise brand awareness at the c-level earlier in the sales process, in order to build in confidence, knock down silos, and unlock budgets.

Nelson Schmidt, meanwhile, took home the Gold award for ‘Best multichannel campaign’ and ‘Best SME-targeted campaign’ for its ‘We’re All In’ and ‘Focus Forward’ campaigns, respectively, both of which were for Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation.

Retina, meanwhile, won Gold for ‘Best use of customer insight’, for its work for Thermo Fisher Scientific. In this campaign, Retina was able to help the company generate 12,000 new contacts (an increase of 29% YoY), increase their conversion rate by 7% since the beginning of the campaign, and more. Retina wins Gold for ‘B2B marketing communications agency of the year’

With an impressive year all round, as demonstrated by the case study above, it’s no surprise Retina won the Gold award for ‘B2B marketing communications agency of the year’.

As you can see by reading the full case study here, the agency impressed the judges with its work with Thermo Fisher Scientific, Jumio, Bank of Montreal, eXp Realty and Virbela.
