NIIT Technologies has appointed Gareth Case as European marketing director.
Case was previously marketing director – UK and Ireland at CSC. He joined CSC in August 2015, having previously held marketing leadership roles at Xchanging, Xuber, and ONI.
He was shortlisted for B2B Marketer of the Year at the B2B Marketing Awards in 2013, and
Xuber’s ‘Stirring the City’ campaign
won ‘Best use of live event marketing’ in the same year.
Case was also
selected as one of 10 B2B Rising Stars in 2013
, and a year later was ranked as
LinkedIn’s most engaged marketer of the year in the UK
.
In May last year CSC announced a merger with the enterprise division of Hewlett Packard Enterprises. The combined businesses, now called DXC Technology, was launched on 3 April.
Meanwhile, Electrolux has announced CMO MaryKay Kopf will step down from her role on 1 May. Lars Hygrell, currently senior VP of marketing and brands for the major appliances division in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, will succeed her in the position.
