Marketo and Google Cloud join forces to improve enterprise engagement solutions

Marketo and Google Cloud have announced a collaboration to integrate Marketo’s marketing automation software into the Google Cloud Platform.

Marketo’s products are currently used by 6000 businesses worldwide and the aim of the collaboration will be to combine Marketo’s Engagement Platform with Google’s G Suite and data analytics offering.

The integration means Marketo’s products will run end-to-end on Google Cloud Platform, with the company planning to fully transfer from their own servers and onto the platform by 2019.

Steve Lucas, CEO at Marketo, said: “Our alliance with Google will simplify and improve how enterprises engage with their customers. Marketo customers use our Engagement Platform to deliver personalised experiences, fueling revenue growth and improving brand impact, while scaling to support the demands of today’s digital landscape.”

Tariq Shaukat, president at Google Cloud, added: “This collaboration will allow for innovation leveraging Marketo’s Engagement Platform and Google Cloud’s commitment to performance, collaboration and data science at scale.”

The collaboration is part of a six-year alliance that aims to create a joint go-to marketing approach.
