, has acquired the British martech provider Vuture for an undisclosed sum.

Vuture’s platform, which offers marketing automation, event management and content management among other features, is aimed at the professional services sector. It is used by 65% of the UK’s top 100 law firms, and more than half of those in the ‘magic circle’ – the five most prestigious.

Wellford Dillard, CEO of CM Group, said: “We were attracted to Vuture and its offerings for their personal approach to client relations – something we pride ourselves on and is a differentiator compared to other email service providers. With its focus on professional services, high customer satisfaction, and product breadth, Vuture is a perfect fit for our family of brands.”

The acquisition will increase CM Group’s employees in London to more than 100 – with 600 worldwide in total – with further hiring in the capital anticipated.

CM Group also announced $410 million in additional financing. This capital will be used to finance further acquisitions, the business said.
