Avanade use social media and video in brand campaign

Business technology service provider, Avanade have launched a social media campaign designed specifically for face-to-face events.

The ‘#askavanade’ campaign was initially rolled out at The Gartner CRM event and invited people to ask questions via Twitter that Avanade answered on their YouTube channel.

‘#askavanade’ was designed to raise brand awareness but after a strong initial response the service provider changed the model slightly in order to meet different objectives.

At this week’s SharePoint Best Practices Conference the aim was recruitment marketing and Avanade videoed questions from delegates and posted them on YouTube. 

Avanade has plans to roll it out at similar events in the near future and discussions are under way plans to take ‘#askavanade’ to global events.
