The B2B industry’s top 75 marcomms agencies’ income has grown by an impressive 22 per cent since 2014, according to B2B Marketing’s new B2B Agencies Benchmarking Report.
Agencies’ average gross income in 2015 reached £4,804,512, a rise from £3,932,785 in the previous year.
Many agencies have also increased their headcount, with average growth in employees reported at 21 per cent between 2014 and 2015.
In terms of the bigger picture, data collected by B2B Marketing over the last 10 years provides an interesting picture of the agency landscape.
While 2010 is shown to have been a difficult year for agencies, average growth has been steady since, with agencies reporting a rise in income of at least 13 per cent every year.
Alex Aspinall, head of content at B2B Marketing, commented: “It’s great to see another year of growth among the B2B marcomms agencies.
“It’s clearly been another year of success, highlighted not only by the increased revenues we’re able to report on, but also by the increased headcount, and notable number of acquisitions that have also made their mark on the table. Long may it continue.”
