Belgian B2B agencies BBC and Ark BBN to merge

Belgian B2B agencies BBC and Ark BBN are to merge.

BBC is currently based in the town of Mechelen, and will become known as BBC Mechelen. Ark BBN, which is part of the BBN agency network, is located in the town of Rupelmonde, and its team of 55 will move into a new office in Ghent, under the name BBC Ghent. Anton Loos, the current MD of BBC, has been appointed MD of the merged agency.

BBC clients include Samsung, Thermo King and DS Smith and the agency employs 43 staff. Ark BBN’s customers include Panasonic Batteries, Ceres and Eternit. The hope is the merger will allow the two agencies to improve work for complementary clients.

Ben Verleysen, founder and manager of Ark BBN and now managing partner at BBC Ghent, said: “Ghent has the talent we need. Many up-and-coming specialists graduate from the university here. Ghent is also the city of start-ups in our areas of expertise. Working with these young companies and leading platforms such as Showpad, will be even easier now.”
