Bennett quits Experian for Market Location

Market Location has prised Nigel Bennett away from Experian, as part of its on-going expansion. He has been appointed as sales director and joins following a five-year stint as business development director for B2B marketing at Experian.

Bennett has been appointed to strengthen field and telephone sales operations. will be heading up the operations and also becomes a shareholder in the company.

Prior to joining Experian, he worked for 15 years for Dun & Bradstreet, where he was head of B2B UK strategy.

Bennett comments, “Market Location shook the B2B industry with its entry to the marketplace. Its ownership of a B2B database has placed the company in a unique position in terms of insight and flexibility. Clients already recognise the personally tailored service that Market Location provides.”

The appointment arrives on the back of steady growth for Market Location, which has made three other appointments this year.

Simon Bennett also joined from Experian as agency account manager, and both Nick Washbourne and James Shiel – from Data Locator and LBM respectively – have joined as account directors for the data solutions team.
