Business software provider Sign-Up.to has set the mood for marketers in the holiday season by launching its Christmas advent calendar competition. The UK based company will be giving away prizes everyday from December 1- 24 and the winners will be chosen at random for ‘Better than chocolate’ campaign.
Carol Peat, support team leader at Sign-Up.to, said the campaign’s objective was to build brand awareness as well as data collection, as people will have to sign-up to take part in the daily prize draws. The company is employing social media as well as online and email marketing to spread the word about the campaign.
‘Better than chocolate’ follows on from an email marketing design competition, which drew to a close in November, when Forepoint won. Peat confirmed that the email design competition was aimed at increasing the company’s Facebook fan count.
