The British Interactive Media Association (BIMA) has announced its rebrand along with new initiatives including a British Digital Hall of Fame.
BIMA, an industry body designed to connect everyone working in âdigital Britain’, hopes the new initiatives will encourage the sharing of knowledge and best practice advice across the country.
Other ideas include creating industry standard legal guidelines and partnering with schools, colleges and universities to promote work experience as well as creating an industry led course structure.
The industry body also announced it is to open offices in Scotland and Wales to ensure the association is covering the whole of Britain. Justin Cooke, BIMA chairman said, “Our goal is to showcase the wealth of talent [Britain has] to the rest of the world.”
