Brand naming company Catchword has released a name visualiser aimed at helping marketers view product or company names in real marketing scenarios.
Name Visualiser will be available for free and will enable marketers to see a brand name in the form of six marketing situations e.g. from a business card to a billboard. The tool also allows for the font, size and colour to be changed.
The tool is designed to help businesses evaluate their naming choices. Catchword co-founder, Laurel Sutton, said, “Even the most savvy marketing people can have a hard time visualising how a name will come across in real life. Brand names that might be dismissed as too ‘out there’ often gain power and plausibility when put into visual context.”
