British Airways sponsors Brighton’s i360 observation tower

British Airways has sponsored what will be the world’s tallest moving observation tower, currently being constructed on Brighton seafront.

The five-year deal includes full naming rights and, when finished, the tower will stand 162 metres high.

The structure will feature the world’s first vertical cable car and the world’s most slender tower, with guests enjoying 360-degree panoramic views of Brighton and the Sussex coast.

Eleanor Harris, chief executive of British Airways i360, commented: “Through this exciting joint venture we are confident we can give British tourism and industry in the South East a major boost.

We bring more people to the UK than any other airline, so we are really excited about the fact that customers will be able to fly with us to our hubs in London and then take a flight up to 450 feet on the British Airways i360.”
