Brother has appointed James Lawton-Hill as its new head of marketing.
Lawton-Hill has been with Brother since March as its market development manager, according to his LinkedIn profile, and has successfully introduced a new social media strategy for the company to increase engagement with channel partners and end users.
In his new role Lawton-Hill will support Brother in launching a series of new technology products and online business support services in 2013, and lead a team of 20 marketers.
Phil Jones, Brother’s UK Country Head, said, “James has proven experience in delivering marketing campaigns which have an impact on sales performance. His knowledge of our sales channels and relationships with key customers gives him insight into how marketing can support the bottom line of our business.”
