Brother has partnered with insurance provider Chaucer to boost product awareness through a UK-wide marketing initiative targeting tradespeople.
The three-month campaign has been developed by the labelling division at Brother’s European headquarters in Manchester, with partnership marketing agency Simbiotik.
The activity includes a dedicated website, PR, direct mail flyer, e-newsletters, blogs and social media.
Eligible tradesmen, such as plumbers, electricians and technical engineers, will be offered a free Brother PT-E100 labelling device when they purchase a Chaucer Employers’ Public and Product Liability insurance policy.
Mike Kelly, head of category identification at Brother UK, said: “Our aim is to increase awareness of our industrial P-touch range, through this joint initiative. These hand-held devices produce tough labels that are waterproof, resistant to extremes of temperature and unaffected by most chemicals – making them ideal for tradespeople.”
Meanwhile, Stuart Dickinson, divisional head – UK commercial at Chaucer, commented: “Brother is a global leader in its technology field, and its P-touch brand is the ideal fit for our tradespeople focused marketing activity.”
