C4B celebrates 15-year anniversary by launching apprenticeship scheme

UK catalogue marketing company, Catalogues 4 Business (C4B), has launched a new apprenticeship scheme for 16-18 year olds to celebrate its 15 year anniversary.

Established in 1998 C4B has created 1100 catalogue for both B2B and B2C businesses.

The company has launched their yearlong apprenticeship scheme this month and plan to start interviewing candidates in September. C4B are searching for apprentices with good IT skills and an interest in social media as well as creative marketing.

The apprenticeship scheme will link to C4B’s local college, Oxford Cherwell Valley, and also work in association with Digital Youth Academy. It will involve 12 days a year at college with the remaining based in the C4B office.

Ian Simpson, managing director of C4B, said: “Quite simply we wanted to give someone the chance to experience a career within creative marketing and design. We’ve got a fantastic team, who have a lot to teach, and we want to find somebody who is equally as eager to learn. It is a great opportunity for somebody to get a foot on the career ladder and gain credible experience.

“They will learn all about our brand and develop their employability skills as well as valuable experience that will last a lifetime. The great thing about this apprenticeship is that the candidate will come away with a series of qualifications as well as gaining real life experience from the age of 16. In today’s challenging youth employment market, it’s a fantastic opportunity to offer and we are very proud that we have the chance to do so.”
