Capco names Marc Bussell as marketing director

Global financial business and technology consultancy Capco has appointed Marc Bussell to the role of marketing director, Europe. Bussell joins Capco at a time as the company grows in both Europe and North America.

Bussell has 15 years of professional services marketing experience, beginning his marketing career at operations management firm Celerant Consulting where he led marketing efforts in energy, Celerant’s largest industry practice, before heading up marketing in the UK and then establishing the firm’s marketing activities in North America.

Bussell returned to Europe to run a global sports sponsorship programme as director of brand and communications, concluding his career with Celerant as director of corporate and UK Marketing

Bussell will have responsibility for Capco’s marketing activities across Europe at a fundamental point in its development. The European marketing strategy will support Capco’s growth targets, focused on building brand awareness and increasing the company’s profile among financial services and management audiences.

Bussell said, “The changing environment in the financial services industry presents a unique set of communications challenges. Marketing has a key role to play in raising awareness of Capco’s unique offering among its clients in this sector. Capco has strong content and insights that cover the key issues across financial services which we will leverage extensively through multiple marketing channels to support our two main marketing objectives.”
