Capgemini launches campaign to web and creates new marketing role

Consulting, technology and outsourcing services company Capgemini has launched its latest global advertising campaign using the web in order to position its brand as a digital leader.

The campaign will run until March 2011 and showcases experts who demonstrate what they can deliver to its clients.

With the simultaneous launch of its new brand slogan, ‘People matter, results count’ Capgemini is hoping to highlight a new phase in its identity.

The company has also appointed Hilary Kelly as marketing & communications director for the UK.

The newly created position is designed to bring together the marketing for the full range of Campgemini’s service offerings to the UK for the first time. Kelly will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategy, internal and external comms, and managing agencies.

Kelly joined Capgemini Consulting as a senior consultant in 2007 and has led many successful sales bids involving marketing strategies for Capgemini clients. Paul Scales, senior executive at Capgemini, said, “I am therefore delighted she will now be applying her considerable talents to marketing Capgemini itself.”

Speaking about her new role Kelly said, “It makes sense to market all our services in a cohesive and impactful way, and that is the challenge I am looking forward to addressing.”
