Taylor Wessing LLP is a full service law firm providing support for commercial organisations doing business in Europe, the Middle East and China.

Challenge

In order to establish itself as a thought leader on the issue of sustainability, Taylor Wessing canvassed 5450 investors, funders, developers, contractors, architects, planners, commercial agents and end users for their views on the subject.

Solution

To launch the report, thought to be the largest survey of its kind in the UK, a large-scale print, broadcast and online campaign was developed. Part of this included approaching influential environmental and built environment bloggers  – a tactic that generated broad coverage.

Results

The report’s media launch was on CNBC Europe’s Europe Tonight – the channel’s flagship evening news bulletin. Thirty one pieces of coverage appeared in a range of national, broadcast, trade and online media with a total reach of more than five million, and more than 15 senior public figures responded directly to the report, with the Greater London Authority (GLA) and the Minister for Sustainable Development showing particular interest. In total, more than 20,000 people downloaded a copy of the report from a dedicated microsite.
