Christian Slater fronts HP tech security video campaign

Technology business HP has launched a series of videos featuring actor Christian Slater to highlight the security risks facing businesses and consumers.

The campaign, created by agencies Giant Spoon and gyro, highlights the different ways businesses are exposed to cyber threats through poorly secured printers and PCs, and the behaviour of employees.

The video series, titled The Wolf, will show how these vulnerabilities in technology can be resolved.

Christian Slater said: “Hacking is a serious and growing problem for businesses and consumers. When HP asked me to partner on this series, I thought it was a great opportunity to help educate the public about how to better protect against cyber attacks.”

The cyber security firm Mimecast recently used actor Jeremy Piven to front a campaign highlighting the dangers of email security.
