Cloudinary announces DAM integration with Shutterstock

Digital asset management platform Cloudinary has announced its integration with stock photo provider Shutterstock.

The partnership will allow Cloudinary users to gain direct access to sync with their Shutterstock accounts. Cloudinary’s built-in metadata tools will apply to Shutterstock content in the DAM to make it simpler for teams to collaborate, search, and organise content between platforms.

The service is only available to users who already have a Shutterstock account. However, Cloudinary plans to expand the service to all users, regardless of whether they have an existing Shutterstock subscription.

Gary Ballabio, Cloudinary director of business development, said: “Thanks to our unique integration with Shutterstock, our joint customers are freed up to focus more on the creative side of visual storytelling, rather than getting bogged down in administrative and repetitive tasks. It combines Shutterstock’s enormous and growing pool of images and videos, with our platform that manages over 30 billion assets for more than 500,000 users worldwide.”
