Business data specialist Conduit has been acquired by marketing group Pendragon, to provide specialist data services for its clients and the wider market.
This move comes soon after Pendragon Marhaus acquired call centre, Chorus Direct, and is part of a strategy to build up a full service direct response agency.
Tim Noble, commercial director at Pendragon Marhaus, comments, âWe want to offer the client an end-to-end solution.â He adds that a mailing house or printer may be next in the buying spree.
At the time of writing it was understood that Conduit would continue to trade under its own brand identity.
The group’s offering will differ in that clients will only pay-per-lead. Noble says, âWe plan to develop a range of new products that will provide clients with the opportunity to adopt acquisition strategies where they only pay for each sale or lead, rather than having to take all of the risk each time they run a DM campaign.â
He adds that this offering is perfect for high value customers in the property and financial services sectors.
