Cyber1 signs five-year F1 sponsorship to drive B2B marketing strategy

Cyber1 has agreed a deal to become the official cyber security provider for Formula 1 motor racing.

The cyber security advisory business said the five-year sponsorship would enhance the firm’s B2B marketing, growing its business and overall global market presence.

Cyber1 will work with the F1 IT department on consultancy implementation and advisory projects.

Nick Viney, CEO at Cyber1, said: “Both Cyber1 and Formula 1 share the same vision in terms of cyber resilience and product innovation, in conjunction with initiatives such as empowering diverse workforces, through our mutual drive to increase more female role models in both motorsport and cyber security.”

Chris Roberts, head of IT infrastructure at Formula 1, added: “Cyber1 are uniquely placed to bring the expertise, innovation and agility that will help us to secure those systems.”

F1 has long been an outlet for B2B marketers looking to increase awareness, either through sponsorship of teams, cars or individual drivers.
