DataSift offers businesses two years of Twitter data

As ‘big data’ makes its way into the vernacular of many marketers, social data company, DataSift has launched a cloud computing platform allowing businesses access to all Twitter data dating back to January 2010.

Historics allows companies to search and filter data from the micro blogging site to create insight. Potential uses for the platform include analysing trends, evaluating conversations to adjust future marketing messages and financial organisations can analyse sentiment.

Historics is currently only available to DataSift’s existing customers but will be on general release from April. Costs vary depending on the level of analysis required. It is available as a corporate subscription or pay-as-you-go service. For more information visit Datasift.
