Dun & Bradstreet has launched an awareness campaign for its commercial information and insight operation to mark its database hitting the 200 million mark for businesses covered. The web-based campaign (www.dnb200million.com) features 200 real-life testimonials from D&B clients, including IBM and Cesce, examining how they have used the business data specialist’s services to meet their marketing objectives. It also aims to encourage other customers to submit their own testimonials via an online form.
“D&B’s mission is to fuel global commerce,” said Josh Peirez, president, global product, marketing & innovation. “We know our customers count on us for the best business information, when and where they need it. That’s why we worked so hard to reach 200 million businesses, and will work even harder for the 200 million to come.”
The number of businesses listed globally on D&B’s database has doubled in the last six years, with the majority of growth coming from the SME sector.
