De Poel and Polycom appoint senior marketers

De Poel, procurer of temporary agency labour, has appointed Charles Gray as its sales and marketing director.

Gray will report directly to managing director of de Poel, Joe Tully. His main responsibility is to grow the businesses in the UK.

Tully said, “We are committed to being the UK’s leading procurer of temporary labour and with Charles’ impressive background we believe he is perfectly positioned to help us drive forward this momentum.”

In other appointment news Polycom has appointed a new VP of EMEA marketing.

Tim Stone is tasked with developing marketing campaigns to help drive revenue and adoption of Polycom’s ‘Polycom RealPresence’ video collaboration solutions.

Stone comes to Polycom from Cisco having held the position of marketing director for collaboration.

Gary Rider, EMEA president at Polycom, said, “I am very pleased to have Tim join the leadership team in Europe. The way we communicate and collaborate is changing rapidly; with Tim’s success as a recognised voice in the video collaboration market, this will be invaluable as we continue to increase adoption of the RealPresence platform throughout EMEA.”
