Do you read?

There’s a world of marketing books out there, many of which are sat on my desk as I organise the book review column for the mag, but do you read them?

When looking for a solution to a problem do you turn to a book? Or perhaps you use them to stay up to date with your sector? Or maybe they sit and gather dust on your desk until you place them underneath your computer screen because you read somewhere, oh the irony, it’s better for your neck and back if your screen is raised…

There’s a group on LinkedIn called the ‘Executive Book Readers Club’ (http://www.linkedin.com/groups?gid=2575108&trk=hb_side_g), now I know these guys read, they’ve set up a group about it and a few of them have taken some books off my hands. But are they a minority, or do you all still have the time and desire to read a business marketing book?
