Tool distributor Draper Tools has joined forces with Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment and its new film ‘The Wolverine’ to launch a branding campaign.
Aimed at retailers, wholesale buyers and consumers ‘The Wolverine’ intends to boost sales of a wide range of hand and power tools. The campaign centres on an exciting competition offering the winner a trip to Japan with a samurai and ninja experience.
As part of the campaign, the brand will also be running weekly Wolverine giveaways via its social media channels until the end of the year.
Plus, Draper Tools will be cutting prices on special Wolverine inspired tools including handsaws and drills in order to drive sales. The company will also be producing specially designed Wolverine point-of-sale for all stockists and heavily promoting the tie-up with a media campaign.
Clive Richardson, marketing director at Draper Tools said: “The brand partnership with Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment and ‘The Wolverine’ is definitely one of the most exciting campaigns we’ve done this year. It’s an absolutely fantastic competition and we expect it to be really popular both with consumers and stockists of Draper Tools. In addition to the specially designed Wolverine point-of-sale, we’ll also be driving awareness with a print and online media campaign and social media support. With some powerful deals on offer the promotion should prove to be a great success for stockists too.”
