Mobile voucher redemption specialist Eagle Eye Solutions has appointed mobile marketer Russell Buckley as its chief marketing officer.
The appointment comes as Eagle Eye Solutions is planning a further expansion of its retail partnership network. In his new role, Buckley will be in charge of educating retailers, brands and agencies in the use of mobile vouchers through all marketing channels, from traditional media, such as TV and print to mobile advertising.
Commenting on the news, Buckley said, “Everyone in the ecosystem from the ad networks to the group buying companies is a potential partner for this technology and I’m looking forward to being part of another huge success in the mobile marketing space”.
Buckley has been working in mobile marketing since 2000 and in 2006 joined mobile advertising specialist Admob with the remit to launch the company in the EMEA region. He was later named VP of Global Alliances at the company, before it was acquired by Google.
