EEDA (the East of England Development Agency) has appointed customer insight specialist Blue Sheep to help in its drive to improve the economy of eastern England.
Blue Sheep aim to help EEDA communicate with businesses in the region more efficiently and promote its range of services designed to stimulate economic growth more effectively.
EEDA is one of nine Regional Development Authorities (RDAs), which are tasked with responsibility for economic development across the UK. Its objectives are to shape the economic direction for the region; co-ordinate solutions for local economic issues; and investing in programmes designed to directly promote regeneration. Communicating and engaging with local business is obviously a critical to achieving these.
âBlue Sheep won competitive tender process to offer value for money mailing services and support with our data protection best practices,â says Alex Menhams, campaign manager for EEDA.
Blue Sheep will now work with the public body to provide an extensive mailing and database development service, as well as providing data from its UK Business Universe database.
Blue Sheep will be advising EEDA on all best practice procedures and issues surrounding data protection, thus undertaking all monthly suppression against TPS, FPS, MPS and CPTS.
âWe are delighted to be working with East of England Development Agency,â says Paul Radford, client partnership director at Blue Sheep. âWe believe our services will deliver results that will make a huge impact to the effectiveness of EEDAâs marketing activity.â
