Awards 2015 case study: Best use of social media – Powwownow

From sending a string quartet to an office, to relocating an entire team onto their roof, this is how Powwownow used social and experiential to generate social reach of 6,282,087

Conferencing and collaboration provider to small and midsize businesses Powwownow wanted to reach a mass market audience and increase brand awareness throughout the country. It launched the #PowwowHELPMEnow campaign in order to position the brand as an enabler, helping office workers get jobs done more quickly and efficiently.

The campaign was primarily carried out on Twitter, allowing the company to interact personally with individuals as well as companies. Powwownow aimed to respond to companies and physically solve the problems they complained about on Twitter - such as their office being too hot and stuffy during the summer heatwave.

The campaign was a success, gaining national press coverage, and generating considerable brand awareness and leads for the brand.

"#PowwowHELPMEnow was undoubtedly one of our most successful social media campaigns to date"
