Community Intelligence means providing B2B Marketers with access to expert advice and education, peer to peer learning and market intelligence via in person/online events and digital community throughout the year. Our digital community Propolis sits at the heart of our strategy with our in-person conferences, awards, training and bespoke marketing services providing key moments when we bring the B2B Marketing industry together throughout the year. We operate in EMEA and the US.

The opportunity

B2B Marketing are looking to accelerate growth in the next three years through further development and execution of a Propolis-centred product strategy. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Propolis Marketing Manager, will lead demand generation, ABM and sales enablement strategy and execution to accelerate new business and retain/grow existing accounts on Propolis.

Propolis is a membership community operating on a subscription basis consequently, experience of marketing in a paid community or subscription-based SaaS product/service is essential to the role.

Key responsibilities

  • Full ownership of Propolis marketing strategy and execution aimed at generating demand and supporting the sales team to win and retain business
  • Establish an ABM approach to target and close major global accounts
  • Strong understanding and utilisation of B2B Marketing’s own channels to generate demand e.g. Events/Training/Marketing Services
  • Manage and procure B2B Marketing customer data to support marketing campaigns
  • Close collaboration with sales, customer success, content, product management and Propolis Experts using customer insight, Propolis content and product features as part of lead awareness and lead generation activity
  • Working with the content team to define themes addressing key pain points for customers and articulating these themes into a compelling customer content 
  • Owning the lead scoring/ nurture programme and making recommendations based on results
  • Developing powerful campaign messaging and writing compelling copy
  • Establish and manage channel partnerships to generate referrals
  • Support sales throughout the lead and opportunity funnel with best-in-class sales enablement material and assets aligned to the sales process
  • Creation of monthly reports evaluating the effectiveness of marketing programmes, providing market analysis and insights to senior management to assess key metrics including ROI and using this to optimise campaigns and sales support

Skills and experience

  • 3+ years of B2B marketing experience within SaaS or online community or subscription-based business intelligence
  • Solid understanding of how to build and execute a successful content marketing
  • Demonstrable experience in digital marketing including social media and SEO
  • Experience in running ABM programmes
  • Experience of marketing tech including marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, web and social analytics and CMS
  • Experience of building and segmenting campaign data
  • Creative thinker with strong copywriting skills and a flair for compelling marketing
  • Strong project management skills
  • A good understanding of paid and organic social media marketing
  • Strong maths and analytical abilities
  • Excellent Excel skills
