Coventry-based tech company Rant & Rave has raised thousands of pounds for the Stoke Association through a charity skydive.
The Ice Bucket Challenge involves people, including an array of notable celebrities, pouring a bucket of ice-cold water over their heads and uploading the video to a social network in order to raise awareness of motor neurone disease. Absolute Digital Media’s CEO, Ben Austin, was nominated and took on the challenge.
Birmingham-based sign writes and manufacturer HNS Signs has been ensuring construction sites, shop fronts and even healthcare services have the right signage. To illustrate its skills while creating unique talking points for visiting customers and potential prospects, the brand has decked out its workspace with a collection of wall art.
PR agency Twelve Thirty Eight has released the world’s highest press release to highlight its name change to Houston PR. The release reached a height of almost 40 kilometres – a high altitude than Felix Baumgartner’s famous Red Bull space dive in 2012.
Marketing technology agency Techdept invited some of the best technology and marketing minds in the UK to take part in a ‘tech-off’. Held at a secret underground location in central London, five speakers had just five minutes to present their favorite piece of new tech. After five rounds the audience decided a winner.
