AWARDS NEWS: Amex announced as latest B2B Marketing Awards sponsors

American Express is the latest brand to sponsor this year’s B2B Marketing Awards. The financial services company is the sponsor of the best event category.

Speaking about the partnership, Andrew Buckley , vice president, global corporate product management at American Express, said, “American Express is  very proud to be associated with the B2B Marketing Awards ceremony,  which has earned a well-deserved reputation for showcasing insights and best practices from outstanding  marketers within the B2B Arena.

“Events form a core component of American Express’ Customer and Prospect  marketing programme and  accordingly we are very pleased to sponsor the Best Event  category which serves to celebrate the very best in Event marketing.”

Amex follows on from IBM Unica who also recently became a category sponsor. After seeing year-on-year growth since the awards programme began six years ago, the presentation ceremony is expected to the biggest yet, topping last year’s 700 attendees.
