B2B Marketing Awards 2019 winners revealed: Octopus Group takes Grand Prix
Octopus Group was declared the big winner at last night's B2B Marketing Awards.
It won Gold in four categories, including ‘Best use of public relations’, ‘Best limited budget campaign’, ‘Best SME-targeted campaign’ and the overall Grand Prix.
The Grand Prix prize chooses the best campaign out of those that won Gold.
This year, it was Octopus Group’s ‘Tudder ‘Tinder for cows’’ campaign for Hectare Agritech, which set up a Tinder-style livestock app for farmers. Their aim was to grow subscribers to the Hectare Agritech's online site: SellMyLivestock, which garnered global media attention with a budget of only £22,500.
Around 800 B2B marketers attended the event at the Exhibition London 28 November to discover who would be recognised as the industry’s best.
Gravity Global picked up three silvers and one gold for their creative ‘shark-themed’ campaign ‘The Profit Hunter’ for Embraer. It won the gold for ‘Best international campaign’, and silver for ‘Best use of creative’, ‘Best use of digital techniques or technologies’ and 'Best use of content marketing'.
Other highlights included Twogether being named 'B2B marketing communications agency of the year', Brands2Life winning 'PR agency of the year' and Gemma Davies crowned ‘B2B marketer of the year’ for her ABM programme.
