BRANDING NEWS: Emirates announces year-long sponsorship of Newcastle’s metro


Emirates Airline has announced a year-long sponsorship of the Tyne and Wear Metro in Newcastle. The airline – including their iconic ‘Hello Tomorrow’ slogan - will feature across 56 metres of four Metrocars’ exterior.

Launching in May, the advertising campaign is designed to provide inspiration to passengers on their daily commute. Eye-catching images will showcase a variety of destinations offered by Emirates from Newcastle International Airport, including Australia, Hong Kong and Dubai. The airline will also be promoted within the Metrocars’ interior with 32 internal carriage cards per car.

The deal demonstrates the airline’s continued support for Newcastle and the North-East region, highlighting it as a major UK hub.
